Bio: Virginia tried to capture the feeling of the opening night of Turandot, performed by Opera Australia in this Fibonacci poem. She tells us the whole night was the event as she travelled to Sydney, met a friend, had dinner by the harbour with the backdrop of Sydney Harbour Bridge, the lights of the city, the beauty of the winter night, the warmth of staff reception, the seating and overflowing of good will from the audience as well as the performance itself of course. Virginia says the sounds were so sublime and earnest, delivered from a dedicated cast which created wonder in herself.
