Goodnight and good luck

Goodnight and good luck

With great sadness we say goodbye to all our wonderful narrator contributors and community. After five years the time has come to put narrator to bed, to consign its story to the annals of history – no matter how small its place there. Our last item, the appropriately titled Done, courtesy of Leonie Bingham, was published on 31 October 2015, and the items between 1 May and 31 October 2015 will soon be published (December 2015) in narratorINTERNATIONAL Volume 3. Accordingly, we are now closed for submissions.

But to you, our dear readers and contributors, we say THANK YOU for the ride – and for the ‘write’ – for without the ‘write’ there’d have been no narrator. So we wish you all the very best for your future writing hobbies and careers.

This site will remain visible at least until the end of 2017, so don’t forget to mention that you were published here when documenting your writing career. And don’t forget that narratorAUSTRALIA Volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4 and narratorINTERNATIONAL Volumes 1, 2 and 3 will be available from Amazon and other online retailers for many years to come.

Thank you again for all your support, your encouragement, and your wonderful sense of community – and KEEP ON WRITING!

Jenny, Sarah, Ally and Wayne

I love this photo. Will it be the cover of our last book? It’s been a grand ride. Thank you for everything.

Thanks for your kind words, Virginia! I’m glad you enjoyed it – and yesterday’s lunch. It was a great afternoon and such a pity we couldn’t have had a cyber-lunch so that more could have joined in, hey?

As for the photo – thank you – it was a Fiji sunset taken many years ago, but won’t be the cover of the final. Ally and Sarah encouraged me to ‘pull rank’, though, and so we’re using one of my paintings. So while it’s not this image, it is one of mine. Just working on getting all the ducks in a row now …

Cheers, and thank you again for all your support!

      Jenny

A belated goodnight and goodbye. I have been absent but not forgetful of you all for most of this year, but thankyou Jenny and crew for your support and encouragement to so many; and thankyou to all my fellow writers who contributed and who encouraged the rest of us. It has been a great ride and one that I will always treasure. You have fed my love of writing, one and all!

Today is the 12th December and I have just logged onto Narrator after an absence of some time. So terribly sad that you are closing down. NarratorInternational was a wonderful outlet for writers. It felt like a family. Many thanks to the Narrator team for all your hard work and all your encouragement. It has been such an honour and privilege to be associated with you. All the vey best for the future.
